Counselling
Counselling
Caring is the first step, let us help with the second. Many people experience stress, anxiety, and depression.
If you, or someone you know, are feeling down, you’re not alone. Support from loved ones can make a big difference – that’s why it’s important to check in on friends and family, especially during this time of year.
Try these tips:
• Take your loved one’s feelings seriously – avoid telling them to “just cheer up”
• Schedule time for a phone call or in-person conversation rather than texting
• If needed, help them find mental health resources in their area
Encouraging a loved one to seek help can be the first step toward them feeling better. Speaking with a counsellor or mental health professional can be very helpful for dealing with issues like anxiety, burnout, and seasonal depression. You, or a loved one, can book an in person appointment Here or see Jordan conveniently from the comfort of your home.
What is Counselling?
Counselling is provided by a caring, trained, and objective professional with whom you are able build a healing and trusting relationship. With that established problems can then be addressed in the secure and private environment provided by Body Therapy. Professional counsellors are experienced in being able to offer different types of assistance, most frequently talk-based styles of therapy depending on the individual personal difficulties being faced .
Counselling is a process of talking openly about, and working through, your personal difficulties with someone how is willing to listen and wanting to help, and who genuinely cares. The counsellor helps you to address your problems in a positive way by helping you to clarify the issues, explore options, develop strategies, and increase self-awareness. For some people, just the process of telling their story to a counsellor, and being listened to, without judgement, is helpful.
Body Therapy provides the necessary facilities and professionalism to aid those who may be concerned with developmental issues, who want to address and resolve specific problems, or assistance with making decisions. Counselling helps with coping with crisis, the development of personal insights and knowledge, and assists clients to work through feelings of inner conflict and to improve relationships with others.
The counselling provided by Body Therapy is completely confidential. This means that everything you discuss with the counsellor is private, between just you and the counsellor.
