Dr. Aaron D’Amico

Dr. Aaron D’Amico’s journey into chiropractic began at an early age, growing up in a chiropractic family alongside his father, Dr. Kevin D’Amico, who also practiced chiropractic care. Being surrounded by an environment focused on health, wellness, and helping others naturally sparked his interest in pursuing a career in healthcare.

His passion for chiropractic became personal through his own experiences with sports injuries. As a young athlete, Dr. Aaron experienced a significant injury that threatened to limit the active lifestyle he enjoyed. With the support and care of his father, he was able to recover and return to the activities he loved. Experiencing this process firsthand had a lasting impact and ultimately inspired him to pursue a career in chiropractic care, with the goal of helping others maintain an active and healthy lifestyle.

Dr. Aaron completed his Bachelor of Health Sciences, with a minor in Chemistry, at Mount Royal University, where he also contributed to a research publication. He then pursued his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Palmer West Chiropractic College in San Jose, California. During his chiropractic education, he further developed his clinical skills and gained a strong appreciation for the role chiropractic care can play in helping patients move, perform, and feel their best.

Dr. Aaron takes a hands-on approach to care and commonly combines chiropractic adjustments with soft-tissue techniques. He is certified in Active Release Technique® (ART®), instrument-assisted soft-tissue therapy using Gavilán®, and kinesiology taping. His approach is individualized to each patient, with an emphasis on addressing both the underlying factors contributing to their concerns and their goals for staying active.

While attending chiropractic college, Dr. Aaron also volunteered his time and clinical services at numerous sporting events throughout California, working with athletes and gaining experience helping them stay healthy and perform at their best.

Dr. Aaron’s Philosophy
Dr. Aaron lives by a couple of guiding principles that reflect his approach to health, wellness, and patient care:
“A healthy body is a guest chamber for the soul; a sick body is a prison.”
— Francis Bacon
“When ‘I’ is replaced with ‘we,’ even illness becomes wellness.”
— Malcolm X

To Dr. Aaron, these words reflect the importance of taking care of the body while recognizing that health is not something we have to pursue alone. He believes that working together with patients to understand their goals, challenges, and lifestyle can help create a more meaningful approach to maintaining health and staying active.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Aaron enjoys an active lifestyle of his own. You can often find him spending time outdoors with his golden retriever, Howie, working out, playing hockey, snowboarding, hiking, or cheering on the Calgary Flames. Staying active has always been an important part of his life, and his own experiences with injury and recovery have given him a personal appreciation for the importance of maintaining movement, mobility, and overall well-being with chiropractic care.
