Karen Pipe

Karen works with adults and couples who may be navigating relationship difficulties, anxiety, grief, life transitions, family challenges, chronic pain, or the emotional impact of illness, injury or an accident. She also supports people who may simply be feeling stuck, overwhelmed or unsure of how to move forward.

Her approach is warm, collaborative and practical. Karen strives to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can talk openly about what is happening in their lives while working together toward meaningful change.

Her work is informed by attachment and relational approaches and may incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), emotion-focused approaches, the Gottman Method and EMDR-informed interventions, depending on each client’s needs and goals.

When working with couples, Karen provides a balanced space to explore patterns of communication and connection, including relationship distress, conflict, breaches of trust and infidelity.

Karen brings more than 25 years of experience working in healthcare, which also informs her work with people adjusting to illness, injury, chronic pain, caregiving and significant life changes.
